Abstract: In the intercultural business communication, the orient and western nations will always encounter cultural conflict because of the different values, cultural accumulation, modes of thinking and behavior etc. According to the analysis on the reasons for the intercultural communication failure, the author proposed from the characteristics of both orient and western cultures that international business interpreters should consciously cultivate their own cross-cultural awareness and enhance the sensitivity of cultural differences to promote integration of local culture and the target culture, to reduce or even eliminate language errors in international business interpretation, and to promote successfully the international business. |
